Jason Z. ...Mathematics is the study of patterns but furthermore I believe that Mathematics is a language with it's own vocab and rules. Any language can be learned by anyone with enough of the right kind of practice. The difficulty in learning mathematics usually arises from frustration while getting stuck on individual problems as well as forgetting basic math-facts.

I try a multitude of explanations until I find what works for you. I have tutored students in middle school, high school, and adults studying for the GRE and other exams, all with great success.
