...I have worked with all levels of students. I understand Math anxiety and am very patient with my students. I find different ways to approach math problems so that students who have difficulty understanding concepts can see the math from a different angle. (Pardon the pun!) I have also worked with students on the other end of the spectrum who excel at math and need to be challenged. (read more)

...I prefer to teach one-on-one with a student, as this is truly the best way to adapt a lesson to a student, but I have taught high school students in groups up to 17. I aim to personalize lessons to each student's needs, drawing visuals when needed or simplifying advanced concepts into layman's terms.
