Richard  K. ...The most effective way to study grammar is by breaking sentences down into small pieces: clauses, phrases, individual words and punctuation marks, and then analyzing the correct usage of every element making up the sentence. I find diagramming sentences to be extremely helpful. I believe the best approach to grammar was that used by the "Voyages in English" series.
