...Some of my credentials include getting all A's in math and science courses throughout high school and passing the AP tests in spring 2010 in both calculus and physics. With trumpet I've been in concert bands for 13 years and jazz and marching bands for 4 years each so I can play a wide variety of music. I made the all county band both years I tried out in 8th grade and again in 10th grade.

My moment came when my students thanked me for teaching them. I would like to explain math in a way that the students could understand and make them feel like they could do it. I would like to change the feeling of students when they hate math and have D's and F's before coming to my class.
