...I also find real-world applications for the Calculus concepts so students see how relevant the math is to their lives. When I teach math concepts such as Geometry/Math 2, I try to make it more engaging for the student by connecting the math concepts to other subjects. ...I start with the basic C H O single and double electron bond chemistry and move into pentagon, hexagonal octagonal ring and other mirror left and right handed reactions. I review stereo chemistry and chiral molecules and finally stereo isomers and stereo isomerism and superimposable by rotations. I conclude with a preview on amino acids and DNA biochemistry. ...Some exercises were implemented to show mastery of each subtopics. These enabled one or more students to easily relate formulas and equations to its applications and elevate skill level and proficiency.
