...During school, I also worked for Iowa's Mathematics Tutorial Lab. I received an A in Linear Algebra, an A+ in Abstract Algebra, and an A in graduate-level Abstract Algebra. ...I find it easy to relate to students in 1 on 1 or small group settings and can present material in a way that they can understand it. If one approach doesn't work, I'll try another...then another, until the student feels comfortable. My particular strength is in preparation for the Math SAT as I have had students routinely score in the 600-700 range and one even scored a 780! (read more)
