Richard D. ...My solution would be to consistently quiz them so that by the time their exam comes, they've already experienced the pressure half a dozen times. I believe that my job is to assist the student in every aspect of their struggles, not just whether or not they understand the material. I once had a student who couldn't understand Ellipses and their properties.
