Robert E. ...I believe in inquiry-based learning, and except for specific test prep tactics for ACT math & science, I prefer to show the student how to attack a problem using my strategies, rather than doing the work for them. I prefer tutoring one-on-one to teaching in a large classroom. Enthusiasm, real-world application, and wackiness are my trademarks.

The lowest score I got on any subsection of the course was a 94%, if I remember correctly. Regarding math, I got a 780 (88th percentile) on the Math section of the GRE, and have an honors degree in Physics from UT Austin, which required many difficult math courses.

R Bruce N. ...When essential structures, like grammar, syntax, prepositions, etc. all make sense, then learning becomes more fun and far more productive. Probability is the calculation of the likelihood of something happening, or not. If it is certain, then it gets a 1, meaning 100% certain.
