Carlos D. ...Work problems are scary to younger kids, but they should not be. Formulae and calculators should become familiar to the student and the student must feel comfortable with their usage. Some new concepts must be explained carefully and accurately before attempting to solve problems.

At the University of Pittsburgh, I took both Introduction to Logic (Phil 0500) and Symbolic Logic (Phil 1500). I received an A and an A- in these courses, respectively. My experience in computer programming should also contribute to my qualification to teach logic.

I am interested in tutoring any math or science course from elementary school to high school (with the exception of statistics/probability).
