Francisco D. ...Rather than simply lecturing a student, I invite the student to get their hands dirty whenever possible. Working through a problem yourself (with the guidance of a teacher) is a profoundly more effective technique in remembering a concept than only hearing it explained. I also encourage students to think critically and challenge what I have to say.
