...I am very patient and understand that some students have a fear of mathematics, often due to a lack of understanding the basics. Students often need to be retaught what was not learned previously with an experienced and patient teacher. I have had great results with my previous students on a one on one basis, I even have had students improving gradually their grade from a F to an A.

Helping others learn has always seemed to be what I am best at. I believe it started when I was a young Puerto Rican American boy learning English in a household that predominately spoke Spanish. However my mother, unlike my father, struggled with the English language and it was then that I learned to be a role model and aide in her acquisition of the language.
