...I am very patient and believe in teaching by example. My general teaching strategy is the following: I generally cover the topic, then explain in detail, make the student do some problems or write depending on the subject, and finally I make them explain and teach the topic back to me. The following meeting, we review the topic once again to prove they mastered it.

...I was also an active member and officer in our sign language performance club, talking hands from sophomore to senior year. I interned my junior year for my sign language teacher during her ASL II class. Because of my proficiency and quick learning ability in sign language, I was able to skip ASL II by taking the ASL II final and passing.
