...I have been enthralled with the subject since my sophomore year of college and have been tutoring in it ever since. ...I really enjoy math, and prefer tutoring because I am able to work with a student one-on-one to make sure that they are understanding the essential concepts. In a classroom setting I have seen first hand that there are students that need more help with mathematics. The teacher is so busy with all of their students that it is hard to focus on the one student that needs extra help.

While completing my bachelor's degree in mathematics I was employed as a math tutor with the university's athletic department. And for the past two years I have been a graduate assistant running weekly recitations with calculus students, and I now have a master's degree in applied mathematics. My schedule is very flexible for the time being.
