Ed L. ...Once a student starts to fall behind they can get very discouraged and feel they will never "get it". In this situation it is helpful to have one-on-one tutoring. My goal is to get the student to understand the subject matter using mathematics as a tool, instead of just trying to memorize a plug-and-chug method.
