Ralph K. ...With a shaky foundation, it is impossible to build a sturdy house. I have taught many students to rely on themselves and only use a calculator for problems where it is necessary. I wish I had more opportunity to influence younger students in subjects such as pre algebra so that they would come to like math and algebra and not to be afraid of it.
