I love math and love helping students with math! I have taught math at the middle school,high school, and university level for a total of 14 years experience. I have a B.S. degree in mathematics from Texas A&M; a M.A. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, and am currently working on my PhD in mathematics at the University of Texas-Arlington.

...I ask questions of the student to help identify the main issues. When possible I ask students to work out a problem ahead of time, as best they can, so I can review it. I have found that students often do not do well when they are being watched by a teacher and this approach provides me with the data to quickly diagnose the problem areas.

With my help, some of my previous students have been accepted into schools such as Penn State and Baylor University. My SAT scores are 800 math, 750 reading, and 750 writing.
