Nick C. ...You may not have to find the standard deviation for a set of data every day, but the foundational problem-solving skills taught in math are applied every day, sometimes subconsciously. The approach I like to take in tutoring is to first understand the underlying problem, which is generally the method in which the material is being presented. We then work on a remedial solution from there.
