Thomas B. ...When I teach Algebra 1, I really try to stress intuition over memorization of techniques and mindless repetition, because I believe algebra is actually quite straightforward if it is taught in a natural way. I aim for "light bulb moments" in which my students learn a concept they'll never forget. Algebra 2 is one of my most tutored subjects.
