After graduating from college with a degree in bIochemistry, I worked full-time as a primary school teacher for the next four years. I was a fifth grade teacher the first year and a science lab teacher (K-5th) for three years.

The number one reason I became a teacher was that math was not always easy, but since I persevered through the high school curriculum, I was very successful at Northwestern.
