Cristiana P. ...I always track a student's progress based on what he or she hopes to accomplish. One way I do this is by going over old tests, making sure a student is proficient in the problems that are correct and helping in the areas where confusion still exists. My favorite part of teaching is when I am able to aid a student in grasping a challenging concept.

Raveena M. ...During my degree program, I continued to tutor but was also able to gain experience in teaching. I did two semesters of student teaching - one in a sixth grade classroom and one at a high school where I had students from 9th to 12th grade. I graduated from the University of Southern California in December of 2014 and I am now currently in the process of becoming a certified teacher.

Ajay Z. ...I have tutored both the ACT and the SAT multiple times. I was a professional, full time teacher for 4 years at Mary Institute and St Louis Country Day School, a very selective private school, where I taught 7th-12th grade math. I also am a graduate of Harvard (undergrad), so I do know a thing or two about how to study and prepare for exams!

Scott N. ...My degree in mathematics from Rhode Island College has prepared me to tackle any subject. I have also spent time at Pearson as an editor...this means there's a good chance I actually helped write the book you're using to study! I find tutoring rewarding because the one on one time allows you to be fully involved with a student's progress.
