Roger M. ...Some students relate more to the language of math so I'll discuss the etymology of unique math terms. Math has a natural connection to history and science and Geometry especially connects well to the arts and architecture. I also find real-world applications for the math concepts so students see how relevant math is in their lives.

Hamid D. ...The challenge is not so much that students do not know Algebra1, Geometry, etc. The challenge is to make these perquisites work together to make an orchestra and let the brain be the conductor. Knowing math sometimes become insufficient as knowing each instrument might not be enough to be a conductor.

Julian C. ...I have taught both precalculus and SAT Level 2 (which covers similar material). Most of precalculus is about the basic functions: polynomial, rational, trigonometric, and exponential/logarithmic. If you know how these functions look and behave, I've found that most of the subject becomes easier. I also have a strong background in calculus, so I know what the subject is preparing you for.
