Andreea S. I have been tutoring privately for 8 years and have also worked for Sylvan Learning for a short time. I have been teaching math for 7 years in Grayslake. Subjects I have taught include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus (prep, regular, and honors level). I really enjoy working one on one with students because they can ask more questions and better understand the material.

Andrea S. ...There is nothing gimmicky about the way I teach - I use textbooks and require that students complete homework. Regardless of the subject being addressed, I teach content, problem solving, test taking skills, and organizational/study skills. Students who work with me see an increase in test scores and an improvement in grades.
