Raffi H. It may seem strange to begin with a statistic, but I trust you will agree it's not wholly inappropriate. During the 2009-2010 school year, my 11 AP Chemistry students had a 100% pass rate with the following score distribution: Seven of them scored a 5, three scored a 4, and one scored a 3. The high scores are greater than three times the national average.

Dominic S. ...For me, the biggest payoff of tutoring is the moment when the student 'gets it,' when the metaphorical light bulb turns on and what had once been impenetrable becomes straightforward. As for my specific qualifications and thoughts on tutoring math - my SAT Math score was 798. My GRE quantitative score was 770 (old scale, obviously). I received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC test, way back when.
