Becky J. ...My special needs students had made great progress during the course of the year. It was very rewarding for me, because for many of my students it was the first time they were successful in an academic setting. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to work with each student.

Karin W. ...It has been my experience that many students struggle in this course because they think that they have to memorize all of the relationships among trig functions and their identities. For students with limited recall abilities, this can have disastrous results during an exam. I can show students how to minimize how much material must be committed to memory.

Sandra B. ...I worked as an Instructor for the Welfare to work program to train adult students how to be more proficient in obtaining work. From resumes, to cover letters, to employment search...we learned it all. Presentations were given for how to do a good interview, how to present oneself to a potential employer, how to dress and hold your posture, etc.

Leah B. ...I completed my student teaching in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District. Previously I have been a substitute teacher for the Jim Thorpe and Pleasant Valley School Districts. I love to ski and hang out with my 5 year old son in my free time.

William B. I have had much success tutoring over my career as an educator. I find it easy to relate to students in 1 on 1 or small group settings and can present material in a way that they can understand it. If one approach doesn't work, I'll try another...then another, until the student feels comfortable.
