Shigemitsu Y. ...Telling a student 3x = x + x + x and x^3 = x*x*x is only good for the short term retention and the rules can easily be mixed up. When approaching this problem, we should ask questions like what does multiplication mean? What does the 3 mean with respect to x?

Nathan B. ...I try to provide more positive feedback than negative feedback so a student gains self-confidence; this tends to help a student's motivation as well. They work harder to learn material when they feel like they can do it. I believe each person has incredible potential, and I love seeing them realize their goals.

I read physics and math books sometimes and try to see how I can share the knowledge with more people. I have passed all three-level CFA examinations on the first try, and I completed them in 1.5 years, which is technically the shortest time possible.
