David L. ...Let me show you how to read actively. When done effectively, reading becomes a performance art in which you kinesthetically bring conceptual relationships on dead paper to life. Trigonometry is sometimes introduced using a dull collection of problems, like those asking you to determine the height of a lighthouse based on the length of a shadow.
