...I give examples of good essays. Then the student will submit one to me and be evaluated for logic, grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and legibility. Any of the tests not passed can be taken again and the ones passed do not have to be taken again. 80% is required on 4 GED tests and the essay is not evaluated harshly.

...The final area of tutoring that I think I could really help students with is standardized tests. I studied very hard for the SAT, ACT, SSAT, and AP tests my senior year of high school, and I was very happy with the scores I received. I think I have a lot of strategies to share with students looking to take those tests in the future.
