I have had a career in astronomy which included Hubble Space Telescope operations, where I became an expert in Excel and SQL, and teaching college-level astronomy and physics. This also involved teaching and using geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. Recently I have developed considerable skill in chemistry tutoring.

...I have taught courses through Calculus and everything before that. I took one logic course while working for my master's degree in math. The ACT Math test covers Algebra 1, 2, and Geometry plus there are four to six basic trigonometry questions.

I love math and love helping students with math! I have taught math at the middle school,high school, and university level for a total of 14 years experience. I have a B.S. degree in mathematics from Texas A&M; a M.A. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, and am currently working on my PhD in mathematics at the University of Texas-Arlington.
