Peter G. ...I like to find the right balance between identifying patterns through the repetition of a given category of problem, and asking more conceptual questions. Advanced algebra was one of my favorite subjects in graduate school, where I earned an "A" in at least three or four such courses. The same concepts are in elementary algebra, and I have a good amount of experience tutoring at this level.

John D. ...I work with adults studying for the three years worth of exams to become a CFA. Given the amount of material, it is important for students to learn how to assess the importance of what they are reading and concentrate on the core issues, not the peripheral anecdotes. Physically, students need to organize their notes so that they are effective review tool.
