...I am licensed in both math and physics at the high school level. I have taught a wide variety of courses in my career: prealgebra, math problem solving, algebra 1, algebra 2, precalculus, advanced placement calculus, integrated chemistry/physics, and physics. I also have experience teaching physics at the college level and have taught an SAT math preparation course.

...Currently, I teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra. As crazy as it sounds, math and teenagers are two of my favorite things, so it is incredible to be able to combine them through teaching and/or tutoring! I feel that I relate well to students, as I myself was a student not that long ago, and I enjoy building relationships with students outside of the math classroom.

...While math may come easy to some people, I realize that for many it can be a very difficult subject to learn. I have dedicated my life to learning more teaching strategies that help my students in a variety of different ways. I can always find a way to describe concepts that you will understand, and if you cannot learn from me, then you will get your money back.

...We studied mostly math, but I also helped her with science and history questions. After college, I have worked with my girlfriend's 10 year old niece a few times in different areas that she needed help in. I have also helped a friend of mine that was having trouble in math at Elmhurst College.
