...I have been living in the Roaring Fork Valley for over eight years and have a daughter entering middle school here in Basalt. I love to teach though I have not formally taught in any school system. I have lead numerous environmental education programs over the years and have been a volunteer coach here in Basalt in soccer, baseball and basketball for several years.

My tutoring specialty lies specifically within the world of mathematics. Having received a Bachelor's degree in the subject, I'm very passionate about it and its applications. I recognize that everyone has a slightly different learning style and my success comes from my ability to adapt to each individual and make complex concepts simple - or at least less complex.

...Throughout school, I took courses in all areas of mathematics such as Statistics, Calculus, Real Analysis, Probability, and Algebra. I love to work with kids and hope to one day teach at a college level. During school, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Calculus course and also worked in the tutoring center which provided free tutoring to students.
