Factoring is such an important process of Algebra 2: Here is an example that includes factoring and quadratic equation: Find all solutions for: x^2-x-6=0. We can use quadratic formula: x1/2=(-b+/-sqrt(b^2-4*a*c))/2*a, but there is more elegant way to get to the solution of this problem.
