As for my approach to tutoring, I like to explain and simplify difficult concepts, so they are easily understood by students. I believe in "practice makes perfect," so the student will be doing problems the majority of the time to practice the concepts learned.

I always enjoy tackling math problems even if I have to spend hours on it. I find math really fun and entertaining and I am currently studying for the GRE for graduate school which contains a math section.

Gerry H. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics. I've been tutoring math since high school, though, and so far I've helped more than 40 students. My students have ranged in age from 10 to 55, and in subjects from pre-algebra to calculus and statistics.
