Tamara P. ...Most of the seventh and eighth graders I worked with had problems with algebra. So I created and lead small groups where we worked on homework or classwork assignments that they did not understand or could not solve on their own. My approach to helping these students were to reteach the basics of algebra (formulas, terms, algorithms, etc.) and show them simpler ways of solving equations.

Gabrielle M. ...Although in-person tutoring is available, I am now offering online sessions via WyzAnt's new online tutoring platform and/or video chat. As a result of the clarity of the video chat, I am able to teach these sessions exactly as if I were sitting across the table from the student. I am able to teach the specialized programs that I use and even provide homework help via online methods.
