...I am currently tutoring at my former high school under the supervision of my former high school teacher, for those that will be taking the AP calculus AB & BC exams. This year alone, of the eight students I was tutoring, two of them got 5's, two got 4's, and one student received a 3. These students are friends of mine from when I was in high school.

...I want my students to like the subject they are taking and actually understand it. I can go at a pace that the student feels most comfortable in and I will show them how to work out problems the easiest way. I am aware that most teachers go too fast and skip steps as they teach so I try not to do that with the student.

...This led me to volunteer in a self-expression and leadership program that helped change people's lives. The approach was to empower people to create their own possibilities and achieve them in a concise, precise manner without a disempowering approach. Besides teaching and tutoring I became the head coach for this self expression and leadership program for over 10 years.
