...I taught a year at Boles ISD in east Texas, also I have taught at the alternative school in Greenville, Texas. Also, I feel that I am much more effective as a tutor than a classroom teacher. It is much more rewarding to me to make a real change one student at a time than little or no change to 30 times 7 students a day.

...My experience with high school comes from me participating as a tutor in the AVID program. The AVID program is a college preparatory program made for students who have the potential to go to college, but perhaps need extra support to get there. I have received training from The Shelton School specifically for tutoring and working with students with ADD/ADHD and learning differences.
