I have been able to build strong rapport with most students and thus help them quickly improve their understanding of the subjects with which they are struggling. I have a strong math and science background but also have a good understanding of English and history subjects.

Make it fun by allowing the student to suggest how they will be able to use the knowledge and then applying it to that and several similar situations. I taught for 7 years at the University of Portland before moving to Seattle for a better paying teaching position.
