...I taught for 7 years in Paterson, NJ and before that I was a Case Worker for the Division of Youth and Family Services. I left DYFS in 2004 because the job in itself did not allow me to work on one on with kids. Upon teaching I realize that I not only have a desire for it but it is my passion.

...In short, I prefer a "hands-on" approach method while doing tutoring. I let my students think and come up with their own solution and prefer myself to work as a facilitator. In addition to that, I prefer to work with students based on their individual needs because after all each student is unique and has his/her own problems.
