Donna B. I believe you should ENJOY the math you are studying -- at least as much as possible! In addition, I feel my strength as a tutor is working with students who have had an uncomfortable experience in the past or have a bit of anxiety when it comes to math and its complexities. We deal with "test anxiety" in particular.

Or maybe a kid is finding a subject overwhelming, but breaking it down into digestible pieces will give them the peace of mind they need to focus. I'm a great communicator and I find that kids of any age really enjoy my company and respect me.
