Roger M. ...When I teach math concepts such as Geometry, I try to make it more engaging for the student by connecting the math concepts to other subjects. Some students relate more to the language of math so I'll discuss the etymology of unique math terms. Math has a natural connection to history and science and Geometry especially connects well to the arts and architecture.

Vladimir K. ...Working with functions is a big part of this course. I teach my students how to graph these functions, including transformations, and how to understand the behavior of the function by analyzing its equation and graph. I also teach them how to use the graphing calculator, which is very helpful, and sometimes necessary, when working with many of the concepts in this course.
