Patrick M. ...I did not guess on those, although I would recommend guessing to my students as there is no penalty on the ACT for guessing. My approach to coaching for all standardized tests is holistic: content for sure, but also strategy, guessing, calculator selection and usage, nutrition and sleep. William S. ...Probably not - you know what you want to say, and you construct the sentence or the phrase you need in order to say it. Once you get comfortable with math, it's just like talking ... you just "say" what you need to say, and that's it! After you learn it, math is fun.
