Golden K. ...The usual approach that I take in order to help my student succeed is assigning him or her homework, going over what they did incorrectly, and focus on the areas in which they had trouble in. Practice is key as it comes with more pace and ease. I give my students problems that require in depth and critical thinking, so that they may be able to conquer any related problems in the future.

I have two children of my own, who have completely different personalities and learning styles. Often it's much more beneficial to utilize an outside source to tutor your own children in order to alleviate unnecessary frustration.

Sai Karthik P. I like getting asked questions. To which I would think of multiple ways to explain and where possible I'd introduce a short cut method that will be handy during testing. A thorough understanding is always the best way to go which would still still be my primary goal while tutoring.
