Tyler M. ...Often times, Algebra 2 can be an overwhelming subject since it introduces so many new, seemingly-unrelated topics. I work with students to show how all this work ties together. In Calculus, new concepts are introduced that require higher levels of abstract thinking.

April S. ...I think that students need to understand the "whys" before they learn the "how-to's" in math. If a student truly understands the reasons why formulas work the way they do, then rote memorization is not necessary. I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience in algebra and geometry, both at the private and public school levels.
