
...Since I am a handson learner, I am a handon teacher as much as I am able. One of my greatest achievements while teaching High School science was to adjust the curriculum to allow for a variety of learning styles. Students who struggled with the traditional academia were able to bring their grades up to a level they could be proud of.

...But I explained the two handed grip to them if they wanted to use it. I also instructed them also how to turn their hand to use a backhand grip and keep the racket steady and swing straight. I also taught the players how to move on the court, what the lines were, and to always face the net, racket up, knees bent and be ready for the ball.

Since 2004, I have been teaching Math in various Indian schools and with different boards. It had been an enriching journey facilitating the learning of Math in children of various age groups ranging from 6 years to 18 years. It was a learning experience for me to understand the different kind of mindblocks children have for math and to devise ways to clear those blocks.

...Linear Algebra was part of the math requirements for an EE degree from University of Washington. We used linear algebra in solving systems of nonlinear equations for power flow analysis. I also will be earning a Minor in Applied Mathematics where linear algebra is used extensively.
