Linda C. ...Since these skills are necessary throughout their school career, we focused on them in preparation for test taking in all subject areas. As a teacher of primary grades, I taught students to print and then to use cursive writing in their assignments. I found that some students took longer than others to master these skills due fine motor skill development.
