When I taught English, I would encourage students to understand the meaning of the literature; why it was written, the time period it was written in, the characters' importance, etc. When tutoring literature, I would use the same process.

Learning to think mathematically is a key to long term success in the subject. Currently I am tutoring from my home in Claremont (just one mile from Claremont High School). After the birth of my daughter, it is no longer feasible for me to drive all over.
