Ron C. ...The ACT math questions are more straight-forward than those on the SAT, and the ACT reading passages are at a slightly lower level, but many students struggle with the ACT's science section. Also, the ACT covers trig and elements of pre-calculus while the SAT goes only through Algebra 2. A major difference between the SAT and the ACT is that the ACT has a science section.

The ACT reading section is similar to that of the SAT, with the exception that it doesn't rely as heavily on vocabulary, and that its time constraints are much stiffer. I have all the necessary study materials, including half a dozen actual ACT tests, so you will not need to purchase extra books.
