Daniel L. ...Math is created through deductive logic (not magic or guessing!), so anyone with patience and discipline could show why the Pythagorean theorem is true or why the circumference of a circle is 2 x pi x radius. If you can prove it, you can understand it. Much too often, though, your teacher/tutor will just tell you the equation for a circle and expect you to blindly believe that it's correct.
