CARL M. ...Too often, students understand the mechanics of solving the problems but not the physical laws (like Newton's laws) behind them. Once the student has a solid foundation, it's time to do problems - lots of them. I simply gently guide the student, as necessary, by asking leading questions.

I would like to help students understand better course materials and what is integral in extracting information from problems and solving them. I would like to see students try solving problems on their own first and treat me with respect so that it can be reciprocated.
