Because of this, I not only work to help students with particular mathematical concepts but also to build their confidence in math. ...I helped students develop organizational, time management and study skills. Some methods that I encourage include SQ3R, Concept Mappings, creating study guides and using mnemonics. I take a sensible approach to tutoring just as do with teaching high school students. I analyze and approach each student encounter with the primary goal of helping students succeed.
